Appointments

The practice offers an on the day appointment system for GP appointments. You can telephone the practice at 8.30am and book an appointment with the GP of your choice. We do not offer pre-bookable appointments.

Patient consultations are now being delivered in a range of ways to help meet the needs of all patient groups including telephone, face to face and video. You can ask the receptionist for a telephone or face to face consultation with the GP of your choice. The receptionist may ask you for more information to help navigate you to the most appropriate service or professional.

Our reception teams are here to help, please treat them with courtesy.

Nursing Appointments

Appointments for the practice nurse and health care assistant can be booked in advance.  When booking your appointment please let the receptionist know why you are making the appointment and she will allocate the appropriate time.

Discharge from hospital

If you have had an operation and being discharged from hospital you may require follow up care. This might be a change of dressings or removal of staples/stitches. If you are housebound the hospital will contact the District nursing service and they will make arrangements to visit you at home. If you are mobile you will need to organise an appointment to attend your nearest treatment room.

Treatment rooms are based within a health centre and appointments can be booked in advance. Please contact the practice to organise a treatment room card and get your individual CHI number. You will need your CHI number to make an appointment and your treatment room card should be collected prior to your appointment.
